Blood Hunt [Blu-ray w/Exclusive Slipcover]

In 1985, director Javier Elorrieta fused the brutal realism of the Quinqui genre with American-style rural revenge to create one of Spain’s most significant shockers of the decade: When a troubled city doctor (singer/songwriter Patxi Andión) relocates to a remote village, he’ll discover that a horrific tragedy in the town’s past is commemorated by hunting teen addicts as human prey. Agustín González (EL PICO 2), Aldo Sambrell (SATAN’S BABY DOLL), Lola Gaos (TRISTANA), Terele Pávez (DAY OF THE BEAST) and Yolanda Ventura (of ‘80s teen pop superstars Parchís) co-star in what La Abadia de Berzano calls “daring cinema brought to life by a magnificent cast” now featuring a new 2K scan from the original negative for the first time ever in America.
